Melody Boys

Friday and Saturday Party (19:30 – 00:30)

All members of the Melody Boys come from the legendary Ondřej Havelka’s Melody Makers Orchestra from Prague, one of Europe’s most respected swing orchestras.
In this smaller formation, however, the focus shifts even more towards the dancers and the dancefloor.

The band brings an authentic interpretation of swing music from the 1930s and 1940s – not only in sound, but also in spirit. Original arrangements, period instruments, vintage clothing and a deep respect for the mindset of the era are all part of the experience.
Melody Boys have performed at numerous swing festivals across Europe and are known for their energetic, wild and joyful approach to swing – the kind of atmosphere you might expect from Harlem ballrooms or the streets of New Orleans.

Sunday Tea Dance

16:45 – 20:00

Enjoy some more dances before going home after the weekend. This dance is open for everyone – we ask for a donation from dancers that do not attend workshops to help cover costs.
